Chris Clendenin
President
Mr. Clendenin’s career with Boeing spanned thirty-four years. He served as a portfolio executive for a five hundred person engineering organization that generated $200 million to $250 million in annual revenue and maintained contract backlog of more than $1 billion.
His portfolio included equipment that performed field operations, repair and maintenance services, and the development, production and manufacturing test verification and validation for aircraft, weapons and ground vehicles.
Clendenin helped transition his team to predictive diagnosis and proactive maintenance.
They developed and deployed onboard diagnostics, health management, and data analytics toolsets. Designed to anticipate pending failures, these tools targeted the collection, analysis, and reporting of information. They refined the accuracy of repairs and improved the effectiveness of supply chain operations, thereby reducing operating and support costs.
Clendenin’s career has encompassed all phases of the product lifecycle, from design and development to installation, checkout, and support.
- He has managed transactional programs, contractor logistics services, and performance-based logistics.
- He has led support and test equipment for the sustainment programs of major platforms, and for the support equipment development programs of multidisciplined primes.
- He has orchestrated marketing campaigns that resulted in the awarding of competitive, multimillion dollar contracts for test equipment and sustainment services.
- He has conducted customer research and internally funded research and development studies.
Clendenin holds an executive MBA as well as bachelors’ and master’s degrees in electrical engineering and has completed the Executive Program Management Training at Defense Acquisition University in Fort Belvoir, Virginia.
